Star Wars: Episode IX photo leaks give quick behind-the-scenes look
Several photos leaks from Star Wars: Episode IX have given us a small glimpse into the movie.
As filming continues for Star Wars: Episode IX, photos seem to be leaking from several sources. First, Making Star Wars looks to have snagged some images of the Millennium Falcon and now The Sun has photos of several cast members filming including John Boyega, Oscar Isaac and Joonas Suotamo in an outdoor scene.
Keep in mind, rumors are leaks are not confirmed, so take the information with a grain of salt.
The photos from Making Star Wars show what looks to be the Millennium Falcon in wooded/forest area in what is likely Pinewood Studios, where part of the film is reportedly being shot.

The Falcon will likely play a large role in the film for several reasons. First, Rey took off on it in The Last Jedi with the remaining rebellion on the ship, and Lando Calrissian is confirmed to be in Star Wars: Episode IX – the original owner of the Falcon.
Of course, just getting a glimpse of the Millennium Falcon is exciting and gets us pumped up for Star Wars: Episode IX.
The second photo leak came from The Sun. Admittedly, they’re a source we wouldn’t go to for leaks, but in this case the photos speak for themselves.
The images show Boyega and Isaac, supposedly near London. And Boyega has lots of hair! Additionally, Chewbacca is in a couple of the pictures. While some of the images show off extras and other people – it’s hard to decipher anything from the images. They looked they were taken with a telephoto lens of some sort.
It’s great to see Finn and Poe back together again. They’re budding friendship in The Force Awakens was one of the best parts of the film. They spent very little time together in The Last Jedi.
They have great chemistry and one thing the last movie lacked was having the principle cast spend any screen time together.
We realize these photos don’t tell us much, but it’s fun to just see them anyway. We’re thrilled for Star Wars: Episode IX even though we more than a year away from the release.
Star Wars: Episode IX is scheduled to come out in December 2019.
