When will Solo: A Star Wars Story be on Netflix?

With the DVD/Blu-Ray release just around the corner, a lot of fans are asking when will Solo: A Star Wars Story be on Netflix? Let’s take a look.
Let’s start by first stating, we know with absolute certainty, that Solo: A Star Wars Story will come to Netflix. There was some debate due to the up and coming Disney Streaming Network that Solo might not make it onto Netflix at all, but it has been confirmed that it will. The question to concentrate on now, is when. When will Solo: A Star Wars Story be on Netflix?
Now an official date has not been set by either Disney, Netflix, or whoever is in charge of these things. When we do, we will let you know. But, there is plenty of evidence to go off that can give us a pretty good idea of when to expect the Star Wars movie to drop on the streaming network.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi debuted in theatres in December 2017, it appeared on Netflix in June 2018. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story premiered in December 2016 in theatres, it came to Netflix for the first time in July 2017. If we look at a movie that is not Star Wars but under the Disney umbrella, like Cars 3; it arrived in theatres in June 2017 and then arrived on Netflix in January 2018.

You can see where I am going with this. Every movie that appears in theatre under the Disney umbrella will feature on Netflix within 6-7 months later. That is the pattern that the Disney and Netflix have.
So, going by that logic, we should see Solo: A Star Wars Story, which premiered in theatres in May 2018, arrive on Netflix in either November or December 2018. This pattern holds true for Netflix Canada as well. Both US and Canadian Netflix receive the Disney movies at the same time.
So, mark your calendar everyone; Solo: A Star Wars Story should be arriving on Netflix at the end of this year.
