Star Wars: Episode IX rumors still to be addressed

Who are Rey’s parents….again?
Honestly, I will be happy when this one is finally addressed. It’s been going for far too long now.
First cropping up after Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the question over ‘who are Rey’s parents?’ was a heavily discussed topic, right up until Star Wars: The Last Jedi when it was revealed that Rey’s parents were not who we thought they were.
Rather than being a Skywalker or a Kenobi, Kylo Ren revealed to Rey her parents were nothing, just a couple of Junkers who sold her for drinking money.
Many are hoping that when Star Wars: Episode IX comes around, it will be unveiled that Kylo actually lied to Rey and she actually comes from an important family from within the universe.
A current theory that is going around and is still be addressed is that Keri Russel has been cast as Rey’s mother, or someone connected to Rey’s family.
That rumor is really the only little nugget of information that we have got, so it really isn’t much to go on, however with Russel’s character being kept a closely guarded secret, it goes without saying she is going to be a very important character, just how important and whether she is connected to Rey, or another Skywalker, *hint, hint, wink, wink* will be a significant moment.
