When will The Mandalorian premiere on the Disney Streaming Service?

We now have a name for the live-action Star Wars series, so when will The Mandalorian premiere on the Disney Streaming Service? Let’s narrow things down.
I think it is safe to say that we are all ridiculously excited about The Mandalorian. Before the Star Wars live-action series was even given a name, we were hyped, and what we want to know is when it will be here. So, let’s look at when will The Mandalorian premiere on the Disney Streaming Service?
So first things first, we know for a certainty the series will exclusively be available on the up-and-coming Disney streaming service. This was confirmed way back when the series was first announced by Lucasfilm.

Filming of the series is still in the very early stages, as in it is still to begin or has only just begun, so there is still a lot of work to be done before the series is even ready for the Disney steaming service.
That being said, the streaming platform is not expected to arrive until Fall 2019, so there is no concern as of yet to haveThe Mandalorian ready ASAP.
Reports suggest that a Fall 2019 date has been set for the live-action series, which would tie in with the platform launch. This could mean we have less than a year until The Mandalorian is available, which would be great news.
However, there is the chance that a 2020 date could be set, due to Star Wars: Episode IX. The next installment in the movie franchise is set for December 2019, which could cause a potential clash with The Mandalorian.

Network bosses may wish to hold off until the initial hype of Star Wars: Episode IX is over in order to capitalize on viewing numbers. It would really all depend on how early/late the series is considered for release, which would all depend on if filming stays on schedule and if the Disney streaming platform arrives on time as well.
As things stand, you can expect The Mandalorian to premiere on the Disney streaming service anywhere between early Fall 2019, to Spring 2020 at the latest.
