Watch Star Wars Resistance’s season finale Part 1 online
Kaz is on a mission to save his friends, but is sidetracked when he witnesses exactly what the First Order is capable of on Star Wars Resistance.
We’ve finally made it. Just as Star Wars Resistance Season 1 wraps up, we see the events of The Force Awakens in animated form.
Kaz is determined to help his friends that have been captured by the First Order, including Yeager, Doza and Tam, but things don’t go as planned — they never do — because as Disney puts it “they bear witness to the might of the First Order” in Part 1 of “No Escape.”

So what does it all mean? What does the First Order have planned? That likely means the First Order’s test run of destroying the Hosnian Prime system, which includes Kaz’s homeworld and his family.
In the middle of Kaz’s rescue, he will probably learn his family and home have been wiped out. How can he be expected to move forward? But he will and does so because there is second season of Star Wars Resistance on the way.
Leia may make another appearance because it seems now her and Kaz have something rare in common in being survivors of planets destroyed in such evil acts.
This could be a tough episode to watch because we know what’s coming. It will be good to see how Kaz pushes forward. The last episode of Resistance was spectacular and hopefully it will keep going.
