Star Wars fan cast: Keanu Reeves for Darth Revan
With a potential new Star Wars movie set in the Old Republic, there is one actor who seems to be perfect as Darth Revan.
Fans of any fandom can make a lot of noise these days. We see it in Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Marvel and everything in between.
But it’s not always criticism. Sometimes it’s about hope and seeing something you love make it to the big screen.

With the GOT showrunners, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss planned to be part of the next Star Wars movies after Episode IX, and rumors that it will be set in the Old Republic, fans have a desire to see the complex Darth Revan come to life.
Many of the fans already know who they want to see embody this character too.
Keanu Reeves.
The 1990s were all about Keanu Reeves. With this work in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Point Break, Speed, and The Matrix, he became a household name.
Reeves has found a resurgence since then with his John Wick movie series, but also his contemplative nature and a general sense of being a good guy. He’s also complex and layered, bringing to life these characters that you couldn’t imagine anyone else embodying.
It’s why Darth Revan seems like a great role for Reeves.
Revan went back and forth from the Jedi to the Sith and then back again. His struggles are one that could certainly be told and — on a personal note — I feel more comfortable with Benioff and Weiss’ adaptations then I do with their original content right now.
But, having Reeves portray Revan is not a new idea. Fans have been saying it for some time and have created some incredible fan art to go with it. I just happen to agree.
What do you think? Would you want to see Keanu Reeves as Revan?
