Many established Star Wars characters could appear in the upcoming Jedi: Fallen Order video game. Here’s a breakdown of who is likely to appear.

At E3, Star Wars fans got their first look at live game play for the highly anticipated upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order video game, and with it, the reveal of Saw Gerrera as an inclusion in the game.

It’s an upcoming single-player game that follows a new and original story, and protagonist named Cal Kestis, a former Jedi padawan who survived Order 66 and is now being hunted by the Empire after spending years in hiding.

While this does follow an original story and a cast of new characters, it had been speculated that some already established characters may appear in the game, and Saw Gerrera was our first confirmation that this is the case.

The character of Saw Gerrera most famously appeared in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story played by Forrest Whitaker, as well as appearing in The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels TV series, but this is his first appearance in a video game.

Since his appearance confirms that characters from the live action movies can appear in the game, it is very likely that we will see more than just him pop up in it down the line.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is said to take place several years after Order 66, meaning it is set between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, so the characters who appear would have to be around during that time period.

The story that the game follows is also confirmed to be canon, so whoever may appear would have to do so in a way that doesn’t contradict the events of the movies.
