Darth Maul

This is probably the least likely character on this list to appear in the game, however, it would be an incredible surprise for Darth Maul to be included in the game, and one that would fit the story canonically too.

Maul was first introduced as the main antagonist in The Phantom Menace, where he appeared to be killed by Obi-Wan Kenobi at the movie’s climax. However, in The Clone Wars series, he was revealed to have survived, and returned with new cybernetic legs to get his revenge on Kenobi.

Maul would go on to appear in Star Wars Rebels, where he had his final confrontation with Kenobi on Tattooine a few years prior to A New Hope, where he was defeated and was finally killed.

However, in the movie Solo: A Star Wars Story, it was revealed that prior to his appearance on Star Wars Rebels, Maul appeared as a cameo revealing himself to be the head of the Crimson Dawn crime syndicate, setting up a larger role in a sequel movie.

However, seeing as the previously planned sequel films were cancelled due to Solo’s poor showing at the box office, and that the game takes place during the same time period as the movie, why not include Darth Maul in it as a crime boss to pay off his appearance.

I wouldn’t envision Maul being a main part of the game, but rather a side mission where Cal comes into conflict with the Crimson Dawn syndicate, and leads to a confrontation and battle between the two.

If this were to happen, it would be an intriguing inclusion in the game, and going up against a crime syndicate would be a nice change of pace from constantly fighting with the Empire, and as unpopular as the prequel films are, most fans agree that Darth Maul was one of the best parts of it, and I would welcome the chance to see more of him in any medium in the future.
