Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order seems like the video game fans have been waiting for. It’s not just what they’re saying about, but showing it with their wallet.
GameStop, the video game retailer, announced the top 10 most pre-ordered video games from E3 and Jedi: Fallen Order made the list.

Shockingly, Call of Duty took the top spot, but Jedi: Fallen Order came in at No. 6 on the list.
Jedi: Fallen Order follows the story of Cal, Jedi Padawan who survived the initial attack of Order 66. While gamers don’t have the option to choose between the light and dark side, there is a substantial storyline that should be interesting to fans.
The story is part of canon. During the preview trailers and gameplay reveals, Respawn showed off Saw Gerrera, tying in characters we already know to the video game.
The developers said the game is canon and the characters will live elsewhere. There is already a tie-in comic miniseries announced, yet there should be other places Cal, Cere and others from Jedi: Fallen Order will pop up.
It’s been a while since Star Wars fans have had a story-based game the way Jedi: Fallen Order is, which could lead to the surge in pre-sales. It also won’t have microtranscations like Battlefront 2, giving a more traditional feel to the game.
Also, people just like video games.
Jedi: Fallen Order release on November 15. You can pre-order the game now for Xbox One, PS4 and your PC.
