The world premiere of The Lion King brought out the stars including many who are connected to the upcoming Star Wars live-action The Mandalorian.

The Lion King’s world premiere hit last week with a star-studded red carpet event. The stars of the movie were there with Beyonce and Donald Glover, but a few VIPs attended as well.

Some of them included Star Wars actors from The Mandalorian. While the live-action series hasn’t premiered yet, it seems the show is starting to pick up steam.

There will be a trailer released for the Disney+ series at D23 in August, but before that it seems the actors are making the rounds. Let’s take a look at the The Mandalorian stars who made it to the world premiere.

Jon Favreau

Obviously Favreau was going to be there. He’s the director of The Lion King. But even while he’s doing his rounds for the new movie, he let a little news slip about The Mandalorian that he was already working on the second season.

Taika Waititi

Waititi is a Disney friend. The Thor: Ragnarok director also worked on The Mandalorian. He directed at least one episode, but all apparently voice the droid IG-11. Looks like Waititi went to the premiere with the whole family.

Gina Carano

Carano will play Cara Dune in the upcoming series. She looked fabulous at Star Wars Celebration and looked amazing at The Lion King world premiere

Carano radiates pure happiness and I can’t wait to see her in The Mandalorian.

Pedro Pascal

Pascal plays the title character in The Mandalorian. Pascal always looks so happy and as though he never met a razor he liked, but he looks great. And the one tuck is a style. It’s sometimes called a french tuck.

Donald Glover

While Donald Glover is not in The Mandalorian, he is a Star Wars star. He played young Lando in Solo. And he is having the time of his life.
