What Star Wars movies will be on the streaming service?

Fans should be excited about this. Just about every movie will be on the service on launch day. That includes:

  • A New Hope
  • The Empire Strikes Back
  • Return of the Jedi
  • The Phantom Menace
  • Attack of the Clones
  • Revenge of the Sith
  • The Force Awakens
  • Rogue One

Missing from that list are Solo, The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. But fans can expect that to eventually show up within the first year of Disney+.

TV shows

Star Wars has had a number of television series that it has aired, but the first-ever live-action series is coming to Disney+ at release with The Mandalorian. This is an original series that takes place after the events of Return of the Jedi and follows a new story with new characters.

The Clone Wars Season 7 is in the works. That should appear on the streaming service within the first year.

Here’s what you can expect to see on at launch:

  • The Mandalorian
  • The Clone Wars (not Season 7)
  • Rebels

Disney+ will have plenty of content at the start with plenty more to come down the road.
