When new streaming service Disney+ launches this fall, it will have plenty of Star Wars content. Here is what you can expect to see.
As the streaming wars ramp up, Disney+ is going to be a major player in the game as it will hold Disney’s massive catalog including Star Wars.
But not every movie is going to be on the streaming service on release day. So what content are we getting at launch on Nov. 12? Here’s a look at all the Star Wars movies and television series we can expect on Disney+ at launch.
More from Disney Plus
- Young Jedi Adventures recap: Life Day
- If Jon Favreau remakes the Holiday Special, it needs to star Peli Motto
- Ke Huy Quan wants to be in Star Wars and he should join Skeleton Crew

What Star Wars movies will be on the streaming service?
Fans should be excited about this. Just about every movie will be on the service on launch day. That includes:
- A New Hope
- The Empire Strikes Back
- Return of the Jedi
- The Phantom Menace
- Attack of the Clones
- Revenge of the Sith
- The Force Awakens
- Rogue One
Missing from that list are Solo, The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. But fans can expect that to eventually show up within the first year of Disney+.
Star Wars has had a number of television series that it has aired, but the first-ever live-action series is coming to Disney+ at release with The Mandalorian. This is an original series that takes place after the events of Return of the Jedi and follows a new story with new characters.
The Clone Wars Season 7 is in the works. That should appear on the streaming service within the first year.
Here’s what you can expect to see on at launch:
- The Mandalorian
- The Clone Wars (not Season 7)
Disney+ will have plenty of content at the start with plenty more to come down the road.
