Star Wars: Allegiance comics returns as the journey to TROS continues

Two new Star Wars comics come out this week, including the continuation of the Journey to The Rise of Skywalker miniseries.

This week, the Star Wars community has two comics to dive into. The first is Allegiance No. 2, which is part of the Journey to The Rise of Skywalker promotion. The second is the October-appropiate spooky Return to Vader’s Castle.

Let’s take a look at what comics you can grab at your local hobby shop this week.

Allegiance No. 2

The first issue came out just last week. It was intense, emotional and suspenseful. Thankfully, Marvel Comics didn’t wait too long because that cliffhanger was a little much.

The great thing about this issue is that we are finally getting that build up for The Rise of Skywalker. All the big names were in the first issue like Leia, Rey, Poe, Finn, Rose, Kylo and General Hux.

There should be even more Kylo and First Order in this issue considering the cover, which is a four panel artwork by Marco Checchetto. This panel features Kylo front and center.

But we have some work to do with the Resistance. When we left Leia, she was on Mon Calamari and the locals were not too happy to see her.

Star Wars Adventures:: Return to Vader’s Castle No. 3

It’s becoming on October tradition. This is the second year in a row IDW Publishing has put out the spooky ‘Vader’s Castle’ series, giving fun new stories to some of our favorite bad guys.

This week’s issue sees the return of Asajj Ventress. She left her mark in The Clone Wars and is back for another witchy adventure.
