Want to see the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker trailer? Well, the wait is nearly over. Monday can’t get here soon enough.

The wait for the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker trailer is finally almost over.

The TROS trailer is coming during halftime of Monday Night Football on ESPN this coming Monday, according to a report from Good Morning America.

The initial tweet about the news came from the Good Morning America account – although it has since deleted the tweet and a new one posted (which you can see above). However, Tony Morrision, who also works for GMA, also posted the info and revealed tickets would go on sale immediately afterward.

We knew it was coming. There was smoke. There was fire. There were rumors and leaks.

But this is about as official as it gets.

This follows the same path as the previous films in the sequel trilogy. Monday Night Football has become the spot for the Star Wars trailers because the Disney Corporation is nothing if not about affinity.

Disney owns ESPN and ABC (where Good Morning America airs) and Lucasfilm. This way they get more than one bite of the apple with this news.

We have already gotten two teasers, which you can watch here and here. But this is the big trailer, the full-length trailer that should actually explain a little more about the movie to the those who haven’t been reading spoilers and leaks this whole time.

There should be hero shots of our favorite characters, excitement and suspense without giving too much away. Clearly, Lucasfilm has been good with that because it has yet to really offer anything of substance about The Rise of Skywalker – just a few movie shots to get chatting about everything except the plot of the movie.
