When and where to watch the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker trailer
A new Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker is set to be released during Monday Night Football. Here’s how to watch it.
Less than two months out from the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and with no more big blockbuster movies in the way, we can expect Disney to up its marketing campaign for the final installment in the Skywalker saga.
Disney will likely heavily promote it to get as many eyes on it as it can, hoping to end the saga on a high note.
As a part of the promotional campaign for the upcoming movie, it was announced earlier this week, a new trailer for Star Wars Episode IX is set to premiere during tonight’s Monday Night Football game, feature the New York Jets vs New England Patriots, that will air on ESPN.
The game is set for a 8:20 p.m. ET kick off and the trailer will air during halftime. Games are typically three hours, so halftime should be sometime between 9:45 and 10:15 p.m. ET.
For those of you who cannot watch the game, or don’t feel like sitting through what will likely be the Jets getting blown out, the trailer should be released online following its airing during halftime, either through official Star Wars accounts or movie websites.
To find it online after it airs, it should be uploaded to the Star Wars Twitter account and Star Wars YouTube page, along with the accounts of various other outlets.
In addition, it is reported that once the trailer drops, pre-sale tickets to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be made available to the public, so anyone interested can finally reserve their spot to see the movie as soon as it is released.
The Rise Of Skywalker will he released in theaters on December 20.
