The Mandalorian has a great mask, but will we ever see what’s behind it? Will The Mandalorian get unmasked in Star Wars’ first live-action series.
One thing that is an apparent throughout all the marketing and trailers for Star Wars’The Mandalorian is that we never see the title character’s face. We know it’s Pedro Pascal because we’ve been told so and he’s been doing interviews about the Disney+ show.
Yet, we never actually see his face in clips.

Will we ever see it?
There’s actually a chance it doesn’t happen. In a recent interview, Pascal was asked if we would ever see his face and he joked that it wouldn’t happen. It got some laughs, but was he actually joking?
What happens if we go through an entire season without seeing his face? It would be kind of weird, especially for the caliber of actor such as Pascal, but there may be a few moments that lend to seeing his face.
I could see why he would want to wear armor throughout his exploits. It’s a dangerous galaxy after all. However, part of the story involves the Mandalorian upgraded his armor including his helmet. It would be weird to see him go from one helmet to another shinier one without actually seeing his face.
I want to see Pascal’s face. He’s part of appeal of the show along with a great cast.
But also imagine going through a whole season without seeing the main character’s face? What is there to hide?
It’s OK if his face is covered up for most of the series, but in order to get a deeper connection, let’s be able to look him in the eye.
What do you think? How would you feel if you never saw his face?
The Mandalorian premieres on Disney+ on November 12.
