The box art does not disappoint, showing exactly what consumers are purchasing with creativity and style. Everyone’s beloved Porg sits on top of a Christmas tree donning a red Santa Claus hat while The Last Jedi Luke Skywalker balances on top of Chewbacca with Porg drumstick in tow.
The action surrounds our heroes with a First Order Stormtrooper on the ground with a cleverly festive Gonk Droid. The sky is alight with Poe’s X-wing. Fans will recognize familiar vehicles from The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.
In the midst of all this action, some characters are still taking the time for a snowball fight and Christmas decorating.
For 24 days, a new minifigure or vehicle are revealed and the best part has to be the foldout playmat. Prices vary on Amazon ranging from $45.99 to $60.00 with 87 customer reviews at 4.8 out of 5 stars. On the LEGO website, the set has five customer reviews at 3.8 out of 5 stars.
With The Rise of Skywalker theatrical release later this month and Disney+ stellar The Mandalorian, perhaps we will see the likes of Baby Yoda and red-armed C-3PO in next year’s Advent Calendar.
