1. How did Maz Kanata get Anakin’s lightsaber?

We’ve had this question since Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Ever since Rey found it in Maz’s cantina, we’ve all wanted to know how she got hold of it. After all, the last time we seen it, it was fallen down a shaft in Cloud City along with Luke’s hand.

Side note, did Maz find Luke’s hand as well?

Anyway, it’s a question that should have been answered, especially since Maz hinted at how it was a story for another time. Annoyingly that other time was not in The Last Jedi and as we have just found out, it’s not The Rise of Skywalker either.

So, will we ever find out how Maz got hold of Anakin’s lightsaber? Who knows?

The Rise of Skywalker Visual Dictionary has a notation she may tell her story on it one day.

2. Who are the Knights of Ren and what have they been up to?

So, it was great to see the Knights of Ren in The Rise of Skywalker. Considering we got literally zip of them in The Last Jedi. We’ve all been theorizing about who they are and what they had been up to ever since they were introduced in The Force Awakens.

All of those theories are still just that, theories, as while we got to see them for more than just 10 seconds in The Rise of Skywalker we didn’t really learn anything about them.

We still don’t know their origin story, or what they have been up to between The Force Awakens and The Rise of Skywalker. All we really learned was they like walking around together in a group looking all menacing in their rag tag gear and ancient weapons and Kylo Ren can take them all out without breaking much of a sweat.
