Star Wars: Our favorite gungan Jar Jar Binks to come back in Obi-Wan Kenobi series?

It looks like Jar Jar Binks could be coming back in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi Star Wars series and best of all, he’s going to have a big bushy beard! Assuming it’s all true of course.

With The Mandalorian now over and not set to return until Fall 2020, Star Wars fans are turning their attention to what is next in the world of live-action Star Wars series’. The Obi-Wan Kenobi series is most likely going to be next with the Cassian Andor series not coming to Disney+ until 2021.

There isn’t a whole lot of information about the upcoming series. So far, the only confirmed cast member is Ewan MacGregor as Obi-Wan. We may have another confirmed character just around the corner though. Everybody’s favorite gungan: Jar Jar Binks.

Currently this is just a rumor and there is no official confirmation that Jar Jar Binks will appear.

According to Making Star Wars, the famous Nubian from the prequel series is rumored to be making an appearance in the upcoming Disney+ series. It is also rumored that Jar Jar will be sporting a beard as well. So, if this rumor does come to be true, expect some corny beard jokes as the two characters compare beards with one another.

This is one of those rumors that is on the high probability list of becoming true. With Jar Jar Binks having such a major role in the prequel movies and the animated Clone Wars series, along with the close bond he had with Obi-Wan, having the two characters reunite with one another seems like something Star Wars would do and something fans would like to see.
