Is Thrawn Force Sensitive? Timothy Zahn gives a clear answer to fans
By Callum Gunn
Timothy Zahn, author of the Thrawn series, has made it very clear to Star Wars fans who have asked; is Thrawn Force Sensitive?
Grand Admiral Thrawn is a fascinating character. Also known as Mitth’raw’nuruodo. An officer of the Chiss Ascendancy who rose the rank of Grand Admiral in the Imperial Navy, the tales of this Star Wars character in the book series by Timothy Zahn has truly captured the imagination of the fandom.
Those who have read the books or watched the Star Wars: Rebels series will know that Thrawn is a master tactician. Regularly outsmarting his enemies by predicting the decisions they will most likely make in battle, a common question that has been raised is whether or not Thrawn is force sensitive?

There is plenty of evidence to suggest that the former Chiss officer is. His ability to predict what others intend to do with almost pin point accuracy gives the impression that he has the gift of being able to see into the future, much like the Jedi and Sith.

However, Timoty Zahn has decided to throw his hat into the ring ahead of his next Thrawn novel to give a clear answer to Star Wars and put this debate to bed. Check out what the author had to say just below:
So, if you were hoping for some big reveal about Thrawn in the upcoming novel it’s clearly not going to happen. While Thrawn is clearly a unique individual, his ability to be the master tactician is not because of his ability to us the force, but merely his ability to channel his inner Sherlock. Or something like that anyway
