Reports indicate the Obi-Wan Kenobi series has been delayed “indefinitely” but here are two reasons why everything will be OK for Star Wars fans.
It should have been a quiet evening, but instead articles were being posted about the Obi-Wan Kenobi Star Wars series being put on hold.
Fans collectively groaned. This was the one thing pretty much all fans could agree on.

So, what is going on?
Based on the reports coming (starting with Collider), it seems the scripts were not in the place they needed to start shooting. While shooting for the series was supposed to start this summer, it may have pushed the unannounced release date back.
While it’s not ideal news, here are two reasons why everything will be OK.
It’s OK to wait
While Star Wars has a history of making some last swaps such as with Solo and The Rise of Skywalker, it’s OK if it means the end result is going to be better. The difference between the Kenobi series and the aforementioned movies is that there is no release date yet. We haven’t been guaranteed anything yet.
If waiting means a better quality product, then that works for me.
Plenty of Star Wars content
Even though the Kenobi series is one many Star Wars have been waiting for, there is so much content coming out over the next year. First, The Clone Wars Season 7 arrives next month, then movies and comics, and The Mandalorian Season 2 coming in the Fall.
Even if we have to wait for the Kenobi series, there is going to be so much coming for fans. Enough to, hopefully, make us forget about the series on hold for a while.
It’s not the ideal situation, but it’s where we are. Let’s look at the bright side for time being.
