Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker novelization came out this week. Now’s a good time to pick it up, giving yourself a fun Star Wars read.

If you needed something Star Wars related this week, good news fans – The Rise of Skywalker novelization is out.

Even if you watched the movie, it’s well worth diving into the book. The novelizations gives insight into character’s thinking, extra scenes and moments that were not in the movie. This isn’t different for this book, it’s like that with every novelization.

Before the book came out this week, there were some leaks as to what fans can expect to find in the book. It goes more in depth in the opening scene as to where

and why Kylo Ren was mowing down people. It offers more insight into Kylo and Rey’s connection. It also gives details as to what ships actually showed up in the final sight scene.

I haven’t read the book yet, though others have. I am trying to stay spoiler free as possible because it’s like a completely new story.

However, we will have a review coming up soon on Dork Side of the Force.

Past novelizations have given us great insight into characters. Getting those small snippets have been helpful and will certainly have fans talking for some time over the updates to the book.

I’m interested to see how the book works together considering how quick and jumpy the first half of the movie was. It was choppy and moved at such a frenetic pace that there were issues of it on the first watch.

(If you need another watch-thru, the movie is available for digital download.)
