Who will appear in the Cassian Andor series? Lucasfilm added four new cast members to the Star Wars series.
The untitled Cassian Andor series is starting to shape up. New castings were announced for the upcoming Disney+ Star Wars series on StarWars.com.
While some of the rumors have been confirmed – and some speculation – these are official announcements, so we can finally feel good about the names that have been floating out there.

In no surprise, Genevieve O’Reilly will reprise her role as Mon Mothma. She played the character in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. In addition, three new actors will be joining the Star Wars universe.
Stellen Skarsgard, Denise Gough and Kyle Soller will all be joining the series, which does not have a release date, but is expected to arrive in 2021.
The series will take place five years before Rogue One and has been given the description of a spy thriller.
Skarsgard has been busy of late. He’s set to appear in the sci-fi movie Dune and has recently been in the mini-series Chernobyl.
For Gough and Soller, this is some of the biggest work they will appear in. Gough has done a lot of voice work for video games including The Witcher and Mass Effect: Andromeda. Soller has appeared in several TV series including Anna Karenina and You, Me and the Apocalypse.
While there is likely to be more announcements, this is the first wave of names we are getting for the series starring Diego Luna (Cassian Andor) and Alan Tudyk (K-2SO).
I was hoping for Jimmy Smits to make an appearance as Bail Organa. I’m still holding out for him to make an appearance.
Given all of the writing juggling that happened with this movie, an official casting announcement sends this is the right direction.
The Cassian Andor will stream on Disney+.
