Solo: A Star Wars Story is scheduled to hit Disney+ this summer

Almost all of the Star Wars movies are available for streaming on Disney+ in the United States – except one.

Solo: A Star Wars Story is still not on the streaming service in this particular region. However, fans won’t have to wait too much longer.

More from Disney Plus

Solo is slated to debut on Disney+ on July 10.

The movie tells the origin story of Han Solo, the lovable rogue we got to know in the original trilogy. Solo dove into his backstory showing his ties to Corelia and how he meant Lando and got the Millennium Falcon.

Star Wars fans want a sequel

It’s a movie fans have enjoyed – although it was met by plenty of backlash from a segment of the fans who are angry at Lucasilm’s direction of the sequel trilogy. While the movie wasn’t a smashing box office success, it wasn’t horrible either.

And, still, there are so many fans who enjoyed the movie and how it enriched the Star Wars universe with new characters.

How much do these fans love Solo? There’s been a social media outpouring of those who want to see a sequel. The movie was certainly open-ended enough and left fans with questions about what comes next for Han Solo. There are plenty of tales to be told before he meets up with the Rebels.

Whether that becomes a movie for the big screen or something specific for Disney+ doesn’t really matter to fans. They just want to enjoy the movie again.

On July 10, when Solo hits Disney+ expect to voice their wants for a sequel once again. You can join in using the hashtag #MakeSolo2Happen.
