Looking to watch Star Wars Rebels? Here are eight of the best episodes.

With rumors of a Star Wars: Rebels sequel show and the possible return of some old favorites from the show returning in The Mandalorian Season 2, now is a better time than ever to rewatch the best Star Wars show out there.

Here are my picks for the top eight episodes if you want to dive back into Rebels, or even revisit it for the first time.

Star Wars Rebels Season 1, Episode 14 – Fire Across the Galaxy

Perhaps an obvious choice, but the finale of Rebels season one is popular for a reason: it’s just so amazing!

From the daring and exciting mission to rescue Kanan from the Empire to the fantastic duel between him and the Grand Inquisitor (reminiscent of Duel of the Fates!), this episode is jam-packed with unforgettable action.

It’s the perfect culmination of season one. A fantastic pay-off to our growing familiarity with the characters, this episode also serves to enhance the relationships between the Rebels crew, especially between Kanan and Ezra.

What’s more, the episode has one of the greatest surprises in any Star Wars medium as the identity of Fulcrum is finally revealed which is as much of a shock now as it was when the episode was first released back in 2015.

Star Wars Rebels Season 2, Episode 7 – Wings of the Master

Taking a step back from non-stop action (as great as it is), this episode delivers some great character moments for Hera, developing her position as a master pilot as well as giving us a rare insight into her past.

All whilst giving us the origin story for one of the most iconic Star Wars ships out there: the B-wing!

The episode also delivers some fantastic piloting action, so it has something to entertain everyone! Re-watching this episode after our growing familiarity with B-wings following Alphabet Squadron certainly enriches the experience, too.
