3. Luke Skywalker will be mentioned

A big plot point of season 2 of The Mandalorian involves Mando returning Baby Yoda to a group of “enemy sorcerers.” These sorcerers are obviously the Jedi and the only Jedi alive in the galaxy at this time is Luke Skywalker.

While it’s doubtful we actually see the Jedi Master in this show at all, chances are extremely high he’s mentioned by name perhaps even more than once. There’s been talk that Ahsoka Tano will be in the show and Rosario Dawson has been cast to play her. If that’s the case and she does make an appearance, she will surely know of Luke Skywalker. It’s possible that Mando reluctantly gives Baby Yoda to Ahsoka to deliver to Luke for training.

Maybe we’ll get to find out what exactly Luke is doing during this time frame and whether he’s busy training his sister or fellow Force-sensitive students. Maybe it’ll be during his search for the Sith home planet with Lando and he won’t be able to be found. Whatever it may be, Luke Skywalker should be mentioned by name as both Mando and his companions learn more about the Jedi throughout the new season, and further discover the powerful potential of their wee little friend.
