This certainly is one of the stranger Funko Pop! Star Wars leaks out there.

Warning! This story contains spoilers for season 2 of The Mandalorian.

Well, well, well… Star Wars has done a pretty excellent job of shielding most spoilers away from the general public when it comes to The Mandalorian season 2 leaks. Even the little things like supposed casting rumors and such are still really just rumors. There haven’t any major set photos or the likes (probably because they do a lot of their filming on set inside instead of outdoors).

But, something always slips through the cracks. And in this case, it’s actually Funko that’s letting us be privy to something ahead of the season’s release. Now, this isn’t a mind-blowing spoiler and it doesn’t look like it’s going to be anything to blow the lid off of season 2 — at least we think for now — but it’s certainly a mind-boggling spoiler, to say the least.

While we won’t share that leak here on our site, you can check out the leak on Reddit to see it for yourself.

So, called The Child with Egg Canister, it looks like it’s one of those Pops! spawned from a hilarious moment in the series. We always love seeing a playful, curious Baby Yoda, and him adoring this egg canister looks like an adorably precious moment.

But, just what, exactly, is up with this egg canister? As someone mentioned in the Reddit post’s comments, it could be something of a tasty treat for Baby Yoda, hence why he’s so ready to grab what’s in it. If we’re going with extremes, it’s possible it could be more unhatched Baby Yodas. Ridley Scott has set the precedent for aliens coming out of eggs, so it’s not so far fetched. Maybe that would lead Mando on some sort of Death Stranding mission — just, hopefully, with more action and a lot less walking.

It’s also possible that this will just be a fleeting moment where Baby Yoda has the opportunity to interact with this egg canister, but it’s not necessarily a pivotal part of the story. The possibilities are wide open, and there’s no telling, even, when we’ll actually see this on-screen. The episodes release weekly, so we could see it as soon as episode 1, or it may take a few episodes for this moment to manifest in the series.

Other than that, The Mandalorian Funko Pops! come with a few new Pops! in the set. We’ve already seen the Mandalorian + The Child combo as well as the Gamorrean Fighter and The Child in the Bag in an earlier release. But we’ve yet to see the new Cara Dune Pop! and the Mythrol Pop! as seen in this Reddit post on the second image. At some point, these may be announced during a Mando Monday. And luckily, we’re but a few weeks away until the beginning of season 2 on Oct. 30.
