The Mandalorian: When can Star Wars fans expect to see Ahsoka in season 2?
When can we expect Ahsoka to appear in The Mandalorian Season 2?
With The Mandalorian season 2 arriving later this month, one of the biggest questions fans want to know is “Where is Ahsoka?”
She has been rumored and nearly confirmed to be in the second season, but the trailer showed everything else happening in the upcoming season except for the former Jedi. But maybe if we decode some clues, we can speculate just when Ahsoka might appear.

On Monday, the writers for The Mandalorian season 2 episodes were revealed. Creator Jon Favreau has most of the writing credits, but Dave Filoni’s name pops up as the writer for episode 5. Filoni created Ahsoka for The Clone Wars.
Why Episode 5?
Filoni managed every part of the character’s journey from her early days as a Padawan to being the Fulcrum. It was would make sense that Filoni would also take charge in bringing Ahsoka from the animated series to live-action for the first time.
Given how excited Star Wars fans are for the news of Ahsoka coming to live-action, it’s something that has been talked about for months. Rosario Dawson is rumored to play the role, but none of it has actually been spelled out yet by Disney.
The Mandalorian takes place several years after Return of the Jedi, so Ahsoka is a much older character than we have ever met her. However, she does have a few ties to Mandalore and its culture. She is also connected to Bo-Katan, the last person who fans knew had the Dark Saber before Moff Gideon.
The small crumbs Favreau and Filoni have left us makes it plausible Ahsoka could appear in the series, and also given how Favreau doesn’t give away everything at once, it also wouldn’t be surprising to see her later in the season — like episode 5.
The Mandalorian Season 2 premieres on Disney+ on October 30.
