13. Mudhorn

The Mudhorn is a terrifying monster that the Mandalorian had to face in Chapter 2 of season 1. Mando is tasked with getting an egg from its cave to appease the Jawas who have scavenged most of the parts of the Razor Crest. Of course, the beast catches him in the act and nearly kills him until Baby Yoda uses the force on the beast and Mando is able to take it out.

The creature is truly horrifying. It’s got a large horn at the top of its massive snout and resembles a hair covered rhino. The scariest thing about this massive beast is how ill-tempered it is. It is very upset that Mando stole its egg and wants nothing more than to destroy him to get it back. It is also a very dirty creature that is covered in mud from snout to tail and that only increases the disgusting factor. The Mudhorn is definitely a terrifying monster, and while it’s new to the world of Star Wars, it ranks in the top 15 creepiest monsters.

12. Krayt Dragon

The Krayt Dragon is a beast we don’t actually get to see in the Star Wars films. Obi-Wan does a Krayt Dragon scream to scare away the Sand People and save Luke from them. We also see a skeleton in the Tatooine desert but they don’t make their appearance until the Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds game.

The Krayt Dragon is as creepy as it sounds. It has the classic dragon shape with spikes sticking out of hits back and down its long tail. It has multiple large horns protruding from its head and a mouth full of many sharp teeth that it most certainly uses to feast upon Banthas and perhaps the occasional Dewback. The Krayt Dragon is definitely one of the creepier monsters in Star Wars and could be higher on the list if we’d only gotten a real in the flesh look at it.
