13. Luke Skywalker

We were robbed of a proper reunion between the Skywalker twins, so let’s bring them together for the holidays. Luke was in isolation on Ahch-To for a really long time with just the company of the caretakers and that delicious blue milk. He deserves to unwind among family and friends.

Luke is bound to get along with that one uncle of yours who always wants to talk about cars and technology. You might even hear him bragging about that impossible shot he took when he destroyed the first Death Star. Needless to say, Luke is a crowdpleaser, and your family is going to love him.

Did you know that Mark Hamill is a vegetarian? We’re going to headcanon that Luke Skywalker is too, so you better have plenty of holiday options to accommodate his diet. He definitely brings some funky blue egg nog and we’re placing bets on who is brave enough to give it a try.

By the end of the night, you will likely find Luke listening in on Kanan and Obi-Wan’s philosophical debates, but given what happened at the Jedi Temple Luke doesn’t feel that it’s his place to wade into that conversation. He and Leia definitely get into one or two arguments throughout the night, but they could never stay mad at each other for very long. It’s the holidays after all.

If there is a Night Before Christmas style story in the Star Wars universe, you can be assured that Luke will read a few classic holiday stories before the younglings are sent to bed.
