The runtime for The Mandalorian Chapter 13 is out now.

Disney+ has released the best Black Friday surprise of them all this weekend: a new episode of The Mandalorian. Season 2 has been going extremely well so far. And with episode 5 of season 2 out today, it means the season is more than halfway over. (That’s because the series is just eight episodes long.)

That’s why in this series, every second counts. And even though some may have thought the show was off to a slow start in the first two episodes, episodes 3 and 4 really brought the action. The problem is, though, that no two episodes of The Mandalorian are the same length.

Of course, that is to be expected with TV shows that release on streaming and not on broadcast TV. And it also means you can never quite tell what you’re going to get with an episode of The Mandalorian until you know how long it is. Episodes have never quite been 1 hour long, but they often tend to hover between 30 and 50 minutes. So, how long is season 2 episode 5, Chapter 13?

The Mandalorian season 2 episode 5 runtime

The runtime for The Mandalorian season 2 episode 5 is about 47 minutes, according to Disney+. There’s no rounding up this time, as the episode (when you click on it) says on the timeline that it’s 47 minutes exactly — and not a second longer. Factor that in with credits and the series recap, and you’ve got a decently sized episode for the adventure that’s about to play out.

Speaking of adventure, when we last left Mando, he was on the search to find Ahsoka Tano. Back in episode 3, he was told by fellow Mandalorian Bo-Katan Kryze that he could learn more about the Jedi from Ahsoka. For The Clone Wars fans, many people know about the connection that Bo-Katan and Ahsoka share. But for those unfamiliar with it, the story (so far) has still been accessible for people who haven’t watched the show.

Since the Mandalorian made a pit stop on Nevarro in Chapter 12, many have hoped that Chapter 13 will finally be the episode where fans get to see the live-action version of Ahsoka Tano. The synopsis and the title are now out for Chapter 13, so maybe that can shed a bit of light on what to expect.
