The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda land in season 5 of Fortnite Chapter 2

Here’s how you can play as The Mandalorian with Baby Yoda in Fortnite.

It looks like Minecraft isn’t the only game out right now getting a Mandalorian update. Available to play now, the famous bounty hunter is heading to Fortnite, along with a few other new characters in the season 5 battle pass for Chapter 2.

For the Star Wars fans out there, this won’t be a complete Mandalorian pack. Last season’s Nexus Event went all-in with its Marvel characters, culminating up to the Galactus Event in its final day on Dec. 1. But season 5’s battle pass, called Zero Point, will be all about hunters — hence why the bounty hunter the Mandalorian is included in this pass.

How to get The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda in Fortnite

First things first, to get the Mandalorian and Baby Yoda in Fortnite, you’ll want to make sure you’ve got this season’s battle pass. For 950-V Bucks, you can gain access to the battle pass for season 5. Or for 2,800 V-Bucks, you can gain access to the battle pass and add 25 levels. And what happens next is quite simple.

The good news is that the Mandalorian is the level 1 reward you get, meaning you won’t have to play through long to get him as a playable character skin. Unfortunately, to get The Child/Baby Yoda as a backbling, you’ll have to reach tier 100. The next unlockables in the Star Wars series/The Mandalorian set include Beskar Quests, a Mandalorian banner icon, a Mando and Baby Yoda spray art, and even his famous Razor Crest ship as a glider. (And no, the Razor Crest in Fortnite won’t be as beat up as it was during this current season of The Mandalorian.)

In addition to all of that, there are also some Mandalorian-specific items you can get. The first, as you can see pictured above, includes the Mandalorian’s Amban Sniper Rifle that he uses so expertly in the series. And on top of that, you can get The Mandalorian jetpack so your playthroughs as Mando can be complete.

Of course, in this battle pass, there are so many other level rewards that can be unlocked. But for Star Wars fans, getting to play as the Mandalorian should certainly be fun, especially since there isn’t really a Mandalorian video game out there. Perhaps if this season is a success, which we’re sure it will be, Star Wars might consider going full Mando with their next video game release.
