The LEGO Star Wars Holiday contest is happening. Here’s how you can take part!
The year is closing with a thrilling challenge. As a part of the Star Wars: Force for Change movement — Disney and FIRST have teamed up to bring us the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Contest.
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a company formed in 1989 to fuel young people’s interest in science and technology. Its LEGO League students use bricks to learn all there is to know about robotics and engineering.
Now, with today’s technology, building Protocol droids may be a little out of reach for those students, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t many within FIRST’S LEGO League with the same skills and aspirations as our young Anakin Skywalker.
That’s why Disney has entered the battlefront — in celebration of the brand new LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special on Disney+.
They’re launching a competition for everyone around the globe ages 13 and up.
All you have to do is share a photo of your Lego Holiday designs on Instagram or Twitter with #LEGOStarWarsHolidayContest.
Disney and FIRST are looking for one amazing creation that will receive the amazing LEGO Millennium Falcon (#75192), and a FIRST Lego League team or classroom registration. Isn’t that exciting?
Not on Instagram or Twitter? Don’t worry. You can also submit your entries at LEGO Digital Designer or LEGO BrickLink Studio.
