One of the hottest TV shows around right now is WandaVision on Disney+. This is something of a television cousin to the Star Wars universe, seeing as not only is the series under the Disney umbrella, but there are also many Star Wars fans who love the MCU just as much. So what happens when you take the two worlds and combine them into one? Something very awesome.

On Instagram, user @thereal_lastjedi edited not one but two posters in the style of WandaVision. In the first edit (which you can see on Instagram here), Padme and Anakin take Wanda and Vision’s place in the poster that splits the two in half in both color and black and white like an old television show. On one side, Padme and Anakin wear their Star Wars attire, and on the other side, they’re dressed up like a typical ’50s American family.

More from Anakin Skywalker

In the next edit (on Instagram here), they re-created the famous stacked television poster from WandaVision. On some screens, you can see bits of their old Star Wars outfit. (Just as in the WandaVision poster, you can see bits of their superhero costumes). Also on the television are old scenes from Padme and Anakin’s life, including scenes from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Attack of the Clones.

Padme and Anakin Skywalker: They are an unusual couple

The fan art, of course, is well done. And with Valentine’s Day around the corner, it’s the perfect time to have us look back on Padme and Anakin’s relationship. It was never the perfect relationship. Just like Wanda and Vision’s, it was troubled by hardship.

With the WandaVision concept in mind, though, it’d be interesting to imagine what type of show would come about if Star Wars were to do the same thing. After Padme died following the birth of Luke and Leia, Anakin was left alone in the galaxy as Darth Vader, and the death of Padme truly plagued him — he wanted to save her from death, after all. Wanda, in Avengers: Infinity War (spoilers), was nearly on the same boat. She knew that in order to defeat Thanos, they would have to sacrifice Vision to get the Mind Stone. And after losing him, we can assume her life would never be the same.

So, did Anakin retreat to his own mind to imagine what life would be like if Padme lived? Imagining raising the twins and living a normal life with his wife? Or for Wanda, could we see her become Darth Scarlet Witch as she angrily copes with losing Vision? The similarities are astounding between the two couples, and it’ll be interesting to see if Wanda is able to stay in the Light or if she’s tempted to walk the path of the Dark Side like Anakin.
