Last October, on the very day that NASA informed the world that the moon is wet, we learned that Oscar Isaac had been cast as the Moon Knight in the upcoming Marvel series by the same name. It was a very exciting day for Star Wars fans who were excited to see one of their favorite actors cast in a major Marvel project. Following the close of the Skywalker Saga, fans were ready to see Star Wars’ Poe Dameron in other major IPs.

It may come as a surprise for some to learn that Moon Knight isn’t the first Marvel project that Oscar Isaac has been part of. He was almost unrecognizable as the villainous mutant Apocalypse in the 2016 film X-Men: Apocalypse, and he even contributed his voice to the critically acclaimed Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse as Interesting Person #1. But what about DC Comics?

There are a lot of major Star Wars actors who have also appeared in famous DC Comics roles: Liam Neeson appeared as Ra’s al Ghul in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, Mark Hamill famously voiced the Joker in Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, and of course Boba Fett himself, Temuera Morrison, played the alien Abin Sur in the 2011 Green Lantern film and Aquaman’s father in Aquaman.

But we have yet to see Oscar Isaac bring to life any of the famous Gotham City heroes or villains. There were rumors a few years back that he was in talks to appear as a character in The Batman, but those rumors were quickly squashed when even he didn’t know anything about them!

Nikolay Mochkin, a digital creator and fan artist on Instagram, recently shared a gorgeous piece of commissioned concept art for what Oscar Isaac might look like if he were ever cast as Gotham City’s favorite District Attorney turned supervillain. Thanks to Mochkin, we no longer have to imagine what Isaac would look like as Two-Face, we can see what his terrifying charred face might look like!

What Oscar Isaac could look like as Two-Face in Batman

If Oscar Isaac were ever cast as the devious Harvey Dent, then he wouldn’t be the first Star Wars actor to be in the running for the role. Lando Calrissian himself, Billy Dee Williams, brought Harvey Dent to life during Tim Burton’s tenure with Batman, but he never had the opportunity to bring the duality of Two-Face to the silver screen.

While Oscar Isaac may not appear in a Batman film as Two-Face, he is set to star in and produce the adaptation of The Great Machine, Brian K. Vaughan’s Eisner Award-winning comic book which ran under the DC Comics imprint Wildstorm. Isaac is set to play Mitchell Hundred, the Mayor of New York City and former superhero. That’s almost like Harvey Dent, right?
