Star Wars fans are loving Michelle Ang as Omega in The Bad Batch: What has she been in before?

Happy May the Fourth, y’all! This Star Wars Day, we’ve got a brand-new show on Disney Plus to watch called The Bad Batch. As a spin-off of the long-running and beloved series The Clone Wars, the new animated series follows the Clone Force 99 after the events of Order 66 as they navigate their new world.

In The Bad Batch premiere episode, titled “Aftermath,” we’re introduced to a new character named Omega, and she’s already on her way to becoming a Star Wars fan-favorite.

First introduced as a young outcast interested in hanging out with the Bad Batch, it’s revealed Omega is actually more alike to the group than they originally thought. Don’t worry if you haven’t watched the episode yet, we won’t get into the spoilers. All you need to know is that fans who have already checked out the premiere aren’t holding back their adoration for Omega and the actress who portrays her on social media. Some are even speculating Omega could be Force Sensitive!

Who voices Omega in Star Wars: The Bad Batch?

If you’re here because you recognize the voice behind Omega, that’s probably because she’s a pretty familiar face. The actress’ name is Michelle Ang, a 37-year-old Emmy Award nominee from New Zealand. So what have you seen her in before? Her most notable role is that of Alex in the AMC spin-off series Fear the Walking Dead. She was nominated for an Emmy in 2016 for her performance in Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462.
