We’re onto another episode of Star Wars: The Bad Batch! Those who have been keeping up with the latest animated series which debuted earlier this month on May the Fourth more than likely consider this a worthy spin-off of the long-running show The Clone Wars. Though some have dubbed the new show “The Clone Wars season 8,” all in all it looks like Star Wars fans are really enjoying The Bad Batch.

With four episodes down, we’ve been reintroduced to the titular group, a.k.a. Clone Force 99, as conflict arises between Crosshair and the rest of the guys. Now that the war is over, they’re doing their best to navigate their new normal at the start of the Galactic Empire, and a character named Omega is already shaking things up. We learned in episode 4, “Cornered,” that someone is after Omega, and fans are excited to tune in for the next episode to find out more.

So when is The Bad Batch episode 5 releasing? We’re here with all the information you need to know.

The Bad Batch episode 5 release time

The good news is that we won’t have to wait long until the next episode of Star Wars: The Bad Batch. Episode 5 will debut on Friday, May 28, meaning fans can stay up late tonight to watch it, or get up early tomorrow to check it out. The new episode will be released at its usual time of 12:01 a.m. PT or 3:01 a.m. ET.

That means for fans on the West Coast, staying up until midnight to check out what happens next in The Bad Batch might very well be your plan. As for us on the East Coast, we might have to catch some shut-eye before watching.

Whatever your watch party plan is, we hope episode 5 is as eventful as ever! Make sure to continue watching Star Wars: The Bad Batch every Friday on Disney+ and keep up with us at Dork Side of the Force for all of our coverage.
