With December being within arm’s reach, it’s a wonder when Star Wars fans will get to bear witness to the trailer for the new live-action series The Book of Boba Fett.

The series is confirmed to be released on Disney+ on Dec. 29, and while this is mere weeks away, so far, any greater details on the series have been scant, with only a few set images and a single official poster being released in anticipation.

Without anything further to go on, let’s take a glance at some of the things we would love to see in the soon-to-be-released trailer for the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy’s very own show.

1. Mandalore

The eternal question remains unanswered… technically. Is Boba Fett a Mandalorian? When asked by Bo-Katan Kryze, the bounty hunter remarked that he “never said [he] was” which isn’t particularly helpful but opens up the possibilities that we will see more Mandalorian culture discourse in the upcoming show.

2. Fennec Shand

The Clone Wars
This is an easy one. Since first appearing in season 1 of The Mandalorian, fans have fallen head over heels with the elite mercenary played by Disney alumni Ming-Na Wen. Having already been confirmed as a major part of the series, it would be more than delightful to see the deadly sniper back in action in the upcoming trailer.

3. Other Jango Fett clones

Just how far back into Fett’s backstory the series will go is still a mystery, as is Fett’s relationship with any of his surviving “brothers” who may still be wandering the galaxy. While we know of at least one former clone soldier who survived the post-Endor galaxy, a run-in with the only unaltered clone of Jango Fett might prove to be an interesting confrontation.

4. Bossk

One of Fett’s long-time co-workers and occasional competitor, the lethal Trandoshan has known Fett since he was a boy. The scaled hunter has long been associated with Fett ever since they appeared alongside each other in The Empire Strikes Back. While Bossk had seen many entries in canon, there has been no live-action sighting of him for some time now. Time for a comeback? We think so.

5. Boba Fett

Too obvious? If there’s one thing we want from a trailer for a Boba Fett show, it’s Boba Fett — and lots of it. Din Djarin took somewhat of a backseat in his own show’s second season, which worked out to a varying degree. However, we think that in a show made specifically for this long-time fan favorite, there’s no such thing as too much. A trailer featuring Boba Fett front and center would certainly add to the luster of the man we know so much about but still remains a unique mystery.
