New Ahsoka ears have arrived at Disney World and they’re designed by Ashley Eckstein

Obtaining a pair of Mickey Ears from a Disney park is almost a rite of passage as a fan, even if you’re an adult fortunate enough to make it to one of the famed destinations on your own budget. Now that Star Wars has entered the mix, there have been dozens of new opportunities to wear a pair of ears inspired by your favorite characters from a galaxy far, far away.

New designs are coming and going all the time, which is why the announcement of a new Ahsoka Tano design is so special.

The new Ahsoka Tano Mickey Ear Headband was designed by the original voice of Ahsoka herself, Ashley Eckstein. The actress posted to her Instagram on Tuesday revealing the headband with as much enthusiasm as you’d expect from the one person who quite possibly loves the character more than all of us combined.

“Well, this was the best #TanoTuesday surprise!!!” Eckstein wrote in the caption. “My Clone Wars Ahsoka Tano ears that I designed for @disneyparks and @shopdisney were just released @waltdisneyworld and @disneysprings. I’m sure they’ll be dropping @disneyland and on @shopdisney very soon!”

The headband features the colors and patterns of the character’s features in a unique design you won’t find anywhere else.

Eckstein previously designed a pair of Ahsoka ears for Disney. This new design is specifically inspired by Ahsoka as she appears in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

The actress is no stranger to designing merchandise that allows fans of many franchises to wear their favorite fandoms. Eckstein is the founder of Her Universe, an apparel brand that creates and sells officially licensed clothing and other accessories that merge fandom with fashion. New Ahsoka Tano designs have popped up through the brand recently, so it’s fitting that the character would be the main feature in new merch created specifically for Disney.

The headband costs $39.99 and is currently available exclusively at Walt Disney World and Disney Springs.
