Grab your bricks, your hunger for nostalgia, and your favorite Star Wars-inspired snacks! LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga may have only been out to the public for several days, but it’s already breaking records. In fact, it shattered a long-standing Steam record on its monumental launch day.

This means The Skywalker Saga actually beat Steam records for previous LEGO and Star Wars games released on the platform. This wasn’t all that surprising — fans have been waiting for this game for years. But its success is still encouraging not just for future LEGO Star Wars games but for future Lucasfilm Games projects as well.
People love nostalgia. They love LEGO games, and they love being able to replay their favorite moments from a galaxy far, far away — especially in brick form. The Skywaler Saga didn’t take much to prove to the fanbase that it could both honor what has come before and pave the way for what’s to come.
The game has the same goofy, pure-fun elements that longtime fans of these titles were hoping for. It takes itself as seriously as it should, which is barely serious at all — and that’s the way players like it. There’s enough to do to keep things interesting for quite some time. And there are even ways to easily unlock bonus content for even more fun.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available now on your favorite gaming platforms, including but not limited to PC, Xbox One and Series S/X, Playstation 4/5, and more.
