Star Wars Celebration returns this year in Anaheim, California from May 26-29. Here are a few things you can do while you’re there!

1. Lucasfilm’s Upcoming Movies and Shows Panel

On Thursday, May 26, filmmakers and special guests will come together to discuss the future of live-action Star Wars. We’ll hear about Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor, and The Mandalorian. Could this panel also feature the reveal of the heavily rumored “Tales of the Jedi” series?

2. Mando+ Panel with Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau

Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau will be hosting a panel called Mando+ : A Conversation with Jon Favreau & Dave Filoni, on Saturday, May 28th. The creative duo will be talking about everything that’s to come in The Mandalorian. Be on the lookout for special guest appearances!

3. The Bad Batch Panel

On Sunday, May 29th, executive producers Brad Rau and Jen Corbett, and story editor Matt Michnovetz will be joined by actors Dee Bradley Baker and Michelle Ang to discuss the upcoming second season of the animated Clone Wars continuation.

4. The High Republic

Phase One storytellers Claudia Gray, Charles Soule, Justina Ireland, Cavan Scott, and Daniel Jose Older will be joining in the Star Wars Celebration fun! Stay tuned for future announcements regarding the date and time for The High Republic panel.

5. Podcast Stage

This year’s Star Wars Celebration will feature an event-wide podcast stage! Available throughout the entire four-day event, The Podcast Stage will have a small stage with room for an audience.

Rumors

As of today, Del Rey has yet to announce a “Behind the Scenes” panel for Celebration Anaheim, but I would be surprised if they weren’t in attendance! The Del Rey Star Wars novels are an important part of Star Wars canon, so fingers crossed we get a panel dedicated to upcoming stories.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 is heavily rumored to be announced at this year’s Star Wars Celebration, and with several other games in active development it wouldn’t be shocking if a games-specific panel were announced soon.

Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022 takes place from May 26 to May 29 with more guests, panels and more to be announced in the weeks leading up to the event. Stay tuned for more coverage before and during the convention.
