LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga had the biggest LEGO game launch ever
By Meg Dowell
Throughout the history of LEGO Star Wars video games, TT Games and its distribution partners have consistently created high-quality games that celebrate a galaxy far, far away at every turn. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has been no exception, and its success in its short time on the market is already breaking records, starting with its launch.
The LEGO Star Wars Game Twitter account announced the achievement yesterday, thanking players for downloading the game and making history together with a record-smashing launch.
The game was a major hit on Steam on launch day, which was the first hint that it would continue breaking records. And it’s not hard to find reasons to back up the game’s success.
Even though its launch delays weren’t planned, this unintentionally created more hype for the experience since fans had to wait. The game also hits major marks with its voice acting, jokes, easter eggs, and variety of characters.
What makes this game so beloved and successful despite reports of bugs and lack of character customization complaints? Put simply, it’s fun, it’s the perfect length, and it takes a long time to start feeling like you might run out of things to do. It takes effort to unlock new things, but not so much that it doesn’t feel worth it. LEGO Star Wars lived up to its reputation, and fans hope The Skywalker Saga isn’t the end of the beautiful brick road.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available now on your favorite gaming platforms, including but not limited to PC, Xbox One and Series S/X, Playstation 4/5, and more.
