Since Disney+ first launched in 2019, it has opened the door not just for more TV shows — Star Wars and otherwise — but also for behind-the-scenes content accessible to everyone who has watched the show in question on the platform.
Disney Gallery is a series of documentary-style behind-the-scenes specials surrounding different Disney+ originals and their creations. Both seasons of The Mandalorian received the Disney Gallery treatment. Now, several months after its conclusion, The Book of Boba Fett will receive its own behind-the-scenes special on May 4, otherwise known as Star Wars Day.
In the past, these documentaries have focused on everything from story creation to the creation and use of special and practical effects and more. The Book of Boba Fett may have only lasted seven episodes (there’s been no confirmation at this time whether or not there will be more), but it had a lot to offer in a fairly short amount of time. Fans will finally get the chance to learn more about how it was made.
Like the previous Disney Gallery Star Wars specials, Disney Gallery: The Book of Boba Fett will give fans the opportunity to see the show in a new way. Behind the magic, there is always a team of people putting in effort to bring everything to life.
