The Mandalorian season 3

While guests of Star Wars Celebration were treated to a first-look teaser at The Mandalorian season 3, Lucasfilm revealed that the next season would arrive on Disney+ in February 2023.

During the panel, creators said the season would follow Mandalorian Din Djarin and his best buddy Grogu as they continue their journey. And, Bo-Katan Kryze actress Katee Sackhoff was on hand to say that her character would be venturing back to Mandalore “to be forgiven for my transgressions.”

Though we didn’t get any further details about the upcoming Ahsoka series, creators Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau announced the series would premiere in 2023.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew

Celebration’s first day also had at least one announcement for a brand new Star Wars series coming soon – this one from the team behind the newest Spider-Man franchise. Jon Watts and Chris Ford are helming the live-action Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, which will star Jude Law.

During the panel, Filoni said the series stars kids but is “as much for kids as The Clone Wars.”
