It seems that Ezra Bridger has possibly been found.

It has been rumored by Cinelinx that Eman Esfandi has been cast in the role of Ezra Bridger for the upcoming Disney+ show, Ahsoka. If this is true, he would be joining both Rosario Dawson (The Defenders) and Natasha Liu Bordizzo (Day Shift) who are playing Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren respectively. With it being D23 Expo this weekend, the possibility of a formal announcement could be coming. It is important to note that at this time, neither Lucasfilm nor Eman Esfandi has said anything about the news.

Eman is a relatively new actor to the scene with his first IMDB credit only dating back to 2017. He’s already made a name for himself in roles in King Richard and The Inspection. Jumping into a galaxy far, far away would be great to see. He would be taking over the part from Taylor Gray, who voiced Ezra in Star Wars Rebels.

The possibility of who might play live-action Ezra has been a source of speculation in the fandom for some time now. Rumors around Mena Massoud (Aladdin) have been spinning for some time now. Also, for fun, Rahul Kohli occasionally joked on his Twitter page about filming for the role of Ezra.

When we last saw Ezra, it was the series finale of Star Wars Rebels “Family Reunion – and Farewell.” Summoning a group of whale-like creatures called Purrgil who can travel through hyperspace, Ezra captured Grand Admiral Thrawn and shot them both out to an unknown location. Ahsoka meets Sabine as they both set out to look for Ezra and bring him home. Thrawn was mentioned in the season two episode of The Mandalorian “The Jedi” where Ahsoka is hunting for him. As the Ahsoka series has started filming, it seems like the search for Ezra Bridger will have more answers soon.

It’s also good to know that he’s not actually at a Buffalo Wild Wings.
