The sequel to 2019’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, received an official unveiling during Star Wars Celebration earlier this year. With that came the announcement Cal Kestis and company would return would in 2023. Since then, we’ve seen the games “release window” leak, suggesting March 2023 would be when we could expect to hop back in Cal’s boots. Now, the date itself appears to have been leaked.

Eagle-eyed gamers spotted that the game’s Steam page briefly stated that Jedi: Survivor would release on March 16th 2023. As Wario64 points out, in addition to the release date, the PC specs required to run the game were also listed, in addition to pre-order bonuses, key art, and an updated description of the game itself.

An element of credence was quickly added to this rumour, as Variety revealed Jedi: Survivor would see its first gameplay trailer premiere at The Game Awards, which broadcasts on Thursday 8th December. It would be fair to expect a release date to be confirmed during this trailer, should this report prove accurate.

Cal’s return is sooner than you think!

Things are starting to heat up in the Star Wars Jedi-sphere. The cover art for upcoming tie-in novel, Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars was released to the world earlier this week. Set between Fallen Order and Survivor, Battle Scars looks set to push the crew of the Stinger Mantis further into the eye of the Empire, and will certainly help tide us over until Survivor’s release. Battle Scars drops on March 7th.

Until then, it’s all eyes on The Games Awards later this week. Stick to Dork Side of the Force for the first reaction if/when it releases, and for everything Star Wars beyond!
