With Star Wars Celebration Europe inching closer by the day, the drip of information for the weekend’s events is starting to pick up some pace.

A week following the first announcement of special guests, the second wave of celebrity guests has been revealed. In an update from the Star Wars Celebration Twitter account, a further five names were added to the list of guests appearing over the weekend.

Headlining the latest announcement is Hayden Christiansen, returning to Celebration after his rapturous reception in Anaheim last year. Joining him is Star Wars veteran Denis Lawson (Wedge Antilles), Katee Sackhoff (Bo-Katan Kryzee), and James Arnold Taylor (voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi). The group is rounded out by Mads Mikkelson, who made his Star Wars bow as Galen Erso in Rogue One.

They join the likes of Anthony Daniels, Giancarlo Esposito, Ashley Eckstein, among others, already announced. While it’s exciting to learn who will attend this year’s celebration, it’s arguably more fun speculating what else those names could be getting up to over the Bank Holiday Weekend. For example, 2023 marks the 15th anniversary of the start of the Clone Wars series, and the whole gang is attending. “Celebrating The Clone Wars”, anyone? We know that the current throng of live-action series’ (Andor, Ahsoka, The Mandalorian, et al), which indicates the likes of Esposito, Sackhoff, and Indira Varma will make an appearance at panels covering those shows. Are we about to see Galen Erso announced for Andor?

Those attending that are interested in getting a picture or autograph with any of the announced guests can purchase tickets to do so here. Star Wars Celebration Europe runs at ExCel in London from April 7th to April 10th, and tickets are available here.
