A brand-new poster of The Mandalorian has Star Wars fans even more hyped for the new season of the show.

With just one month left until The Mandalorian Season 3 starts streaming, The Mandalorian official account just revealed a mesmerizing new poster featuring a majestic Din Djarin holding the Darksaber, and Grogu in his pod inside Din’s N1 Starfighter. Have a look at the poster below

The Darksaber glitters against a dim background that shows two different planets. Could these planets actually be Mandalore and one of its moons, Concordia? Din is shown holding the Darksaber in his right hand, and his gun in the left hand, as Grogu looks on excitedly. It’s difficult to say exactly where the two are located, but the poster definitely builds excitement for the increased focus on the Darksaber that Season 3 promises viewers.

This is the first official poster of Din with the Darksaber since his The Book of Boba Fett official character poster that also showed him holding the Mandalorian Jedi weapon.  This poster combines several elements present in the plot of season 3, including the reunion of Din Djarin and Grogu, their journey to Mandalore and Din’s promotion, courtesy of the Darksaber he has in hand. It’s important to note the overall color scheme of Season 3, which contains deep shades of green and some yellow and gold, compared to the blue hues of Season 2 posters and the beige and golden coloring on Season 1’s posters.

The Mandalorian Season 3 posters show Din in a position of power. His glow-up is visible from his overall body language, and the way he’s standing above ground, either suspended in air or standing atop his ship. All signs seem to signal that it’s time for Din to level-up. The father and son pair appear quite excited for the journey ahead, which promises to be perilous. Bo Katan Kryze won’t sit quietly and allow Din to rule Mandalore. You can bet that she’ll have her eye on that Darksaber, however for now, that weapon is safe and secure in Din’s possession.

This season promises increased focus on Din Djarin, more Mandalorians and even more space battles. Stay tuned for continued updates on Season 3 as Disney rolls out even more promotional content.

The Mandalorian Season 3 premieres March 1 exclusively on Disney+.
