The long-awaited sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is almost here! Tomorrow, Jedi: Survivor arrives for the public, and based on Respawn’s work on the original game, there’s no doubt its second installment will impress anyone who loved the first.
If you’re curious about the game’s length — knowing, of course, that side quests and other bonus content will determine your individual play time — there is an estimated (double digit) window you can expect to play for.
According to Dexerto, a standard playthrough of the game should take anywhere between 20 to 30 hours from start to finish. So if you’re a player who wants to get through the story as quickly as possible, you’d better have this weekend cleared of all other plans!
However, the game could take you longer to finish if you’re the kind of gamer who strives to 100% the titles you pick up (it’s me, hi).
Based on the game’s file size, it’s expected that Survivor will include even more content than the first game — whether or not you’ll be collecting seeds again is still up for debate. Chances are, we’re all in for an adventure. Just … beware of spoilers. And don’t spoil the game’s surprises for other people, maybe.
The previous game even included an unlockable playthrough option once you completed the story for the first time. It allowed you to play through the story again with some bonus content to aid your second journey. If Survivor includes something like this again, you’re going to be spending a lot of time with Cal and his crew.
Maybe that’s not such a bad thing.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is available for pre-order, and will release on Xbox, PlayStation 5, and PC April 28, 2023.
