This year, to align with the release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the free-to-play mobile game Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes has released a number of new related characters to the game. This has all led up to the monumental release of Jedi Knight Cal Kestis’s new Hero’s Journey event.

Even though Cal Kestis has already been a playable character in the game for quite some time, this new Hero’s Journey version of the character will be more powerful and — as expected — much more difficult to unlock.

In order to unlock and level up Jedi Knight Cal Kestis in Galaxy of Heroes — which you will be able to do starting today — there are a number of prerequisites you must first meet before beginning the journey.

In order to begin, you must first level each of the following characters up to Gear 12:

  • Cal Kestis
  • Cere Junda
  • Merrin
  • Tarfful
  • Saw Gerrera

Once you level up these characters, you will then be able to move on to the first tier of the event. This will require you to level Cal Kestis up to 7 stars.

In order to complete the event through to the final tier, you will need each of the above characters leveled up to 7 stars with power levels at or above 17,000. As with previous Hero’s Journey events, the more powerful your characters are above the recommended level for each tier, the more likely you are to complete the tier (and event) on the first try.

In the past few months, the game has added characters like Merrin, Cere, and Tarfful to the lineup. Now you can create a new and powerful team made up of your favorites from Fallen Order and Survivor — Jedi Knight Cal Kestis included.
